Information on the Pioche Public Cemetery
The Pioche Public Cemetery is located on the eastern edge of the Pioche town limits, right off Comstock Road and Lightner Street. It is located on a beautiful plot of land with scenic views of the mountain ranges surrounding Pioche and the historic Aerial Tramway runs directly over the cemetery.
The Town of Pioche implemented the fees listed below on August 13th, 2024.
Precise locations cannot be guaranteed due to the historic nature of the cemetery.

Resident plot purchase - $500
Non-resident plot purchase - $900
Opening and closing of grave (casket) - $500
Opening and closing of grave (cremation, 2'x2') - $200
Weekend and holidays burial additional fee - $200
Grave locating for headstone placement after one year - $100
Non-resident buried in previously purchased resident plot - $300
Disinterment minimum (additional cost based on complexity) - $1500

We can accommodate multiple cremation burials in one plot. For a casket burial, only one burial permitted per plot.
